A-T Children's Project
Hunter Kemper supports the A-T Children's Project, an organization raising money to find a cure for Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T), a genetic childhood disease.
Pronounced "ay-TACK-see-uh Teh-LAN-jick-TAY-sha," this lethal disease attacks children, causing progressive loss of muscle control, immune system problems and a strikingly high rate of cancer, especially leukemia and lymphoma. The A-T Children's Project raises funds to support and coordinate scientific conferences, first-rate biomedical research projects and a clinical center for finding a cure and life-improving therapies.
The project organizes A-T CureTour races across the country. Kemper is highly involved in these events, running in the Disney Half Marathon and serving as an honorary coach for A-T Children's Project team in the DanskinĀ® Triathlon. Every race helps raise money to assist those suffering from A-T and to find cure for this devastating disease.
